CURRENT TEACHING SERIES

We are exploring the various commands of Jesus and learning how to obey them “unforced and full of joy.”

UPCOMING EVENTS

  • 5:00 - 9:00pm
    Leisure Lagoon in Mission Bay

    Join us for fellowship around a bonfire. Bring your own dinner and something to sit on (i.e. beach chair or blanket).

  • 7:00-8:00pm
    Sanctuary

    Join us as we slow down in silence, worship, prayer Scripture reading and reflection.

  • 12:00-3:00pm
    Olive Grove Community Park

    Come cheer on the softball team as they play against South Bay Christian Alliance Church, and then join both teams for a hotdog BBQ potluck fellowship. Bring something to sit on (i.e. lawn chair or blanket). Look for the Communion Church canopies.

  • 5:00-8:00pm
    Sanctuary

    Join us for our annual talent show and chili cookoff. Chili dinner will start at 6:00pm, so please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Sign up sheets will be at church.

10:00-10:10 - Ecumenical piece, announcements, pray for kids and then dismiss preschoolers to 1st graders

10:10-10:11 - Call to worship

10:11-10:21 - Worship (2 songs)

10:21-10:31 - 2nd graders to 5th graders are dismissed to their class while middle and high-schoolers remain in service. Meet and greet.

10:31-10:36 - Worship (1 Song)

VOLUNTEER

We not only believe that “many hands make light work” but also that we are called to serve one another. The local church comprises of each Christian believer who has been called by God and blessed and empowered by Him with spiritual gifts, talents, skills and passions that are designed and to be used for God’s glory through the edification and common good of His Church (1 Cor 12). 1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Our desire is to help individuals discover God’s call on their life and utilize their gifting and skills for the greater good of God’s purposes - serving “in” the church as well as “as” the Church.

Currently we are seeking volunteers for:

  1. Running the soundboard during Sunday Service

  2. Running the slides for Sunday Service

  3. Making Coffee for Sunday Service

  4. Serving in Children’s Ministry
